Yu Ying is a fantastic school with a dedicated staff. It is a DC PUBLIC charter school so it is free for DC residents. If you have a kid in the right age range (Pre-K to 2nd grade) give it a thought. You won't regret it.

Yu Ying is DC's Chinese Immersion charter school. PreK 4 is full immersion Chinese. Kindergarten through 4th grade students spend alternating days learning all subjects in their Chinese and English classrooms. We employ the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (www.ibo.org) curriculum framework.

This year we moved into our brand new building and permanent home near Catholic University. The renovated building and addition total 40,000 square feet and are located on 3 wooded acres.

Yu Ying is currently accepting applications for PreK 4 year olds, Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade for the 2012-13 school year.
