My wife and I are interested in moving to the Mount Pleasant area (coming from Boston) in late February. Finding information online is difficult b/c there is so much noise out there, or everything is through some large property company.

Is anyone aware of a realty company that deals with individual owners in the Mt. Pleasant area? Or better yet, would any know of an available unit?

My wife has already arranged to head down to DC already to look at apartments the weekend of Jan. 20-22

Many of us who rent post our vacancies on Craigslist. In fact, I don't know any neighbors who use a rental company, but perhaps that's because we're renting parts of our houses while still living in them (e.g. basement). You might want to try Habitat Real Estate (in Mt. Pleasant), which I know has the occasional rental listing, or another local RE agent.
