Just FYI to bike owners: My wife and I witnessed an attempted bike robbery at park and mount pleasant at 7 am this morning. We yelled at the guy and he took off. We gave some chase, called the cops and gave them a good description. Hopefully they'll catch the guy, but in any case please keep an eye out for suspicious behavior (like a guy with a big metal crow bar going at a bike lock) which sometimes takes place in our neighborhood in broad daylight

We had all of our bikes stolen (3 residents) on the corner of Brown and Newton in July. They stole them out of the back yard, which has a 7 foot locked fence, so they are crafty!
