Did this proposal go anywhere on Tuesday night?
Large chairs for those needing them to attend ANC1D meetings.
Resolved: ANC1D authorizes Gregg Edwards and Angelia Scott to purchase one or two large, sturdy and comfortable chairs to accommodate those needing such seating during the commission’s meetings. This authorizes up to $1100 for this purchase. |

This was for Commissioner Scott, who has a severe weight problem, and finds the folding chairs extremely uncomfortable. Dave Bossermann located armchairs at La Casa, and Stormy found that chair acceptable. Hence, the motion was dropped.
We are concerned about being accommodating to the handicapped.
