Resolved, ANC 1D advises the DC Department of Transportation (dDoT) to consider potential improvements and rebalancing of loading zones in the Commercial Corridor of Mt Pleasant. 1D asks in particular that the engineering staff work with 1D to formulate alternatives and understand their consequences so that 1D can engage with the people here on considering these prospects.

Further, as part of this inquiry, 1D asks that dDoT's Mass Transit and engineering offices assist in considering how the allocation of space for bus stops might be also considered to minimize the loss of parking while improving services to consumers, merchants, and other users of the available space.

Passed by 6 to 0 vote at the legally noticed, public meeting of ANC1D on February 15, 2011, with a quorum present. Voting “yes”: Commissioners McKay, Scott, Romero, Wilson-Phelan, Terrel, Edwards.
