There appears to be some sort of utility work going on in the 3100 block of MtP (east side in front of 3149 through 3151). The sidewalk bricks have been removed and now there is an asphalt line running down the middle of the sidewalk. Is this asphalt temporary and does whichever utility company doing the work intend to replace the removed sidewalk bricks (which are stacked in front of the Deauville)?
Jack, can the ANC please look into this and make sure our sidewalks are repaired properly once the necessary utility work is done? |

| Good question. DDOT Public Space is supposed to regulate these things, but isn't reliable about it. The asphalt should be a temporary fill. -- Jack |

| When the job was started the work crew said they were doing work to bring an electricity line to the Deauville, on behalf of PEPCO |
