Relaying a posting by Devon Bartlett on the Yahoo! Mount Pleasant board:

Looking for a great elementary school for next year? Come to one of the three Thursday morning open houses at Bancroft Elementary School at 9:30 AM, January 14 or 28th, or February 11. Talk one-on-one with current Bancroft parents, enjoy a cup of coffee, hear from our principal and tour classes in session. Enter either through the school entrance at the corner of Newton and 18th Streets, NW, or go across the schoolyard (and down stairs) to the doors leading to the library, where the open houses will take place. Come see whether our flourishing dual language program, full inclusion and exciting diversity make for the right fit for your family.
