Two incidents, on the same evening, a couple of blocks apart. "We have no information at this time that indicates that these were committed by the same suspect (s)", I am told. Oh good, there are two armed criminals preying on Mount Pleasant residents. I have protested to the MPD that we're given way too little information about such crimes. Are the perps alone, or working in groups? Are the victims alone on the street? What are the circumstances that perhaps made them favored prey? MPD policy these days is to tell us little more than that the crimes happened. -- Jack
