Not in our neighborhood, but still, a neat story, from Asst Chief Groomes:

"Today at around noon the bank at 1367 conneticut ave nw was robbed by a lone male. The male fled and later it was revealed the money pack submitted a gps signal in the area of 1600 benning rd. Thus 5d units got in area of hechinger mall and began to canvass the parking lot and stores. Within a half hour the mpd found the suspect in a van on the lot. He wqs apprehended without incident and will be turned over to fbi. Great work mpd"
