| The police seemed to have caught a burglar in the Ingleside Terrace alley on Saturday afternoon. It may have been the suspect that they were looking for. Is there anyway to find out? |

On Saturday a subject broke into a home in the 1800 block of Ingleside Terrace by breaking a window glass in the basement rear door and forcing it open. The occupants of the home heard the glass break and responded to the back of the house to investigate.
One of the occupants observed a subject coming out of the house and attempted to stop him, but was he was shoved into a pole and the subject ran away. During this assault the occupant cut his arm.
The police responded quickly and when they arrived on the scene they located the subject. He was positively identified on the scene as the person who committed the burglary and assault.
Arrested was Joel Hernandez of no fixed address. He was charged with Burglary One and Simple Assault. He was the person the police were looking for. |

| Thanks for the information. I saw him earlier that day and he seemed to resemble the photograph of a suspect that was circulated. I hope that they can hold him a while. |
