DDOT has changed the traffic pattern on 16th between Columbia and Irving. The left turn lane from 16th onto Harvard/Mount Pleasant Street is now an independant lane, and there are three northbound lanes on 16th (instead of the normal two). This has caused some confusion with folks used to three southbound lanes - especially since the new street markings are not the clearest.

Who do we call at DDOT to get them to put up a "New Traffic Pattern" sign, or mark the streets in a clearer manner.

Thanks

Also, I noted on the Columbia Heights forum that changes to the traffic signal pattern on Columbia Road between 14th and 16th are to be implemented tomorrow: http://www.columbiaheightsnews.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=302

It looks like Graham or his office got involved in this. Perhaps the same can be done for Irving at 16th? I think changes will certainly be needed there and at 16th and Park after DC USA open.

Brett - sorry, I don't mean to hijack your thread. I would like to see a New Traffic Pattern sign up.
