The June business meeting of the Mount Pleasant ANC will be on June 6, 7:00 pm, La Casa Community Center, 3166 Mt Pleasant St.

Possible topics:

Non-voting delegates proposal
July 4 meeting scheduling
Committee mandates
Mount Pleasant Alleys
Restaurant voluntary agreements
DSL line purchase
Interpretation equipment lending policy

Jack,

Is the agenda item "Mount Pleasant Alleys" referring to the ANC possibly reprioritizing the Alley repair schedule to place the Irving-Hobart Alley further up the list? Currently, the Irving-Hobart Alley is slated for 2009, but DDOT has indicated that if the ANC reprioritizes the Alley repair schedule, it could be done sooner.

I believe this item has to do with the alley running alongside Heller's Bakery. It's Gregg Edwards' issue. As for the Hobart/Irving alley, you should check with Rich Wysocki, the commissioner for that area.

Only two small portions of the Irving-Hobart alley are currently on the DDOT schedule. You can check the map at the DDOT Web site. (The listing is hard to decipher.) Attached is a portion of the FY2006-2010 map covering Mount Pleasant. The solid lines are road work, the broken lines are alleys. -- Jack
