The ANC will have a special meeting on Tuesday, April 18, 7:00 pm, at La Casa. This is to deal with pressing issues that cannot wait until the May meeting, principally the updating of the District Comprehensive Plan. Other issues that may or may not come up include the jersey wall barrier left behind the Bestway, the live-music ban in Mount Pleasant restaurants, and non-voting delegates to the ANC.

The jersey barrier will be removed behind the Bestway by the end of this week.

Well, it took three weeks, and a number of communications with DDOT, but the jersey wall left behind the Bestway was finally removed on Thursday, April 27.
They still have to haul all their trash out on hand trucks, and cart it around to the front of the building, but at least that jersey wall is no longer in the way.
