My guess is that the trash can fires are related to the group of latino teens going around with fire works and steeling things the past two nights. I saw them walking towards the lamont alley up from 18th street on Sunday and Monday nights. Last night a number of bikes were stolen.

More dangerously, there are signs up on Hobart Street from a woman who was robbed at gun point at about 1640 Hobart by several men on Wednesday night (6/22). As the lights are still out on Hobart as they're fixed - added police monitoring would be a good idea. Also - any additional information related to this matter would be appreciated.
