Attached here is a document displaying statistics of reported crimes in Mount Pleasant during the past three and a half years. Robberies and auto thefts continue here at what is the "normal" rate; thefts, and thefts from autos, increased sharply in August, to values well over twice the average. I'm hoping that the police can tell us at the PSA meeting this evening what's behind these increases.

Our new Inspector, by the way, is a former Mount Pleasant resident. Inspector Burke now lives in Palisades, but lived on Klingle Road here in 1991-1993.
