The Mount Pleasant Advisory Neighborhood Commission
(ANC-1D) has an opening for a part-time staff person
(maximum 40 hours per month)starting June 1.

The duties include: writing up the minutes from the
ANC's monthly public meeting, doing press releases,
posting ANC information to the Web, supporting the six
commissioners with research, letter writing and phone
inquiries, assisting the secretary with the
monthly meeting agenda, circulating the agenda and
other ANC announcements widely by e-mail to media
outlets, neighborhood organizations and local
government, working with translators, and
general community involvement.

Strong writing skills necessary. Spanish language
skills would be a plus. Salary commensurate with
experience.
