RESOLUTION (PASSED): Because Mount Pleasant’s commercial activity is focused predominantly on the Mount Pleasant Street corridor, and that this zoning change will better reflect the commercial nature of the street, and

Because the current zoning of these parcels is contrary to the 2002 Generalized Land Use Map, which designates the portion of Mount Pleasant Street between Irving Street and Park Road for low-density C-2-A commercial use, and

Because traffic and parking is not expected to be significantly impacted, and

Because the owners of these properties are generally in support of this zoning change.

Advisory Neighborhood Commission 1D resolves to support zoning map amendment ZC02-39 for 3101, 3103, 3105, 3107, and 3109 Mount Pleasant Street, as proposed, which changes the zoning of these addresses from R-5-D to C-2-A.
