Does anyone know anything about an incident that occurred around 11:25 pm-12 am on 10/08/01-10/09/01 around 3100-3200 16th St./1600 Lamont St. blocks? My sister lives in an apt. facing 16th St. and was awakened to the sound of sirens and the police shouting, "you, with the knife!" at a man, who was hiding in the bushes. She also heard two women tell the police that they could identify the man.

Needless, to say, she was rather concerned about the whole ordeal. I guess it's a reminder to us all to be alert.
