We are looking for a Mt. Pleasant family with an infant to share our wonderful nanny full-time (50 hrs/wk) starting in late August or early September. Your child would join our two-year-old son, and our nanny could be based at your house or ours—-or both.

Our nanny has 15 years of experience caring for children and has three grown children of her own. She has recently earned the Child Development Associate credential and has passed her US citizenship test. She also drives and has her own minivan. She was excellent with our son when he was a baby—-very loving, safety-conscious, and attentive—-and she is a natural teacher who takes great initiative with him as a toddler too. She takes him on all kinds of outings; arranges frequent playdates; does arts and crafts projects; plays on the floor with him; and patiently answers his many questions. In general, she treats him with great respect and affection. She is flexible, friendly, and a real pro at handling two children (and their families) simultaneously. She speaks basic English, but it would be helpful if you speak some Spanish.

I am looking for someone to spend 20-25 hrs a week with my 6 mos old daughter. The nanny we hired for the year had to quit this week because Mt. pleasant was too difficult for her to get to- we are a bit desparate! schedule is flexible.
