I ran into a woman in our alley this morning who was looking for the remains of her property (purse) which was snatched last night (Friday) around 11:30 pm. Here is her story:

She had just gotten out of a cab and was directly (a few feet away) in front of her house in the 1700 block of Kenyon Street. Three men in their early 20's, one tall black, 2 Latino, approached her. One took her purse. She grabbed one of the guys and he punched her. They ran off in the north direction up the 17th Street alley toward Kilbourne Place.

Please take a look see in your garbage cans (if you left them out in the alley) the next time you dump trash-- maybe they dumped her purse there. I've checked most of the ones going down the alley between Kilbourne and Lamont between 17th and 18th.
