I am starting to see a trend in abandoned cars on the 1800 block of Monroe St. A month ago, the police finally towed an abandoned car from the front of my house after multiple calls. Now I have identified a second (no tags whatsoever) and possibly a third car (hasn't moved in a month) that have been abandoned on our street.

What can I do to speed up police response? I have placed multiple calls to 311 but they're still there. Last time it took well over a MONTH.

Any suggestions? Anyone else notice a trend as well?

Department of Public Works is responsible for towing abandoned automobiles. Department of Public Works just received additional cranes, i believe around 25 cranes. The cars are being pick up. When you can call 727-1000 for the abandoned cars, make sure you receive a confirmation number, which is a tracking number. Our next PSA meeting is Tuesday, April 9. I hope to see you there.

Ok, but can't the police ticket these cars while they sit and take up precious parking spaces in our hood? I mean, come on, add some insult to that injury.
