Dear Sir/Madam: We have had three armed robberies in the past 3 weeks in the 1700 blocks of Kilbourne/Kenyon/Hobart. Two of these were during normal "dinner" hours - between 7 and 8:30. Can you please tell us what is being done about these robberies? Also, do we have patrols in this area? I have never seen a police car in front of my house (Kilbourne) in the fourteen months I have been here except to clear the area of cars during a raucous party (thank you). I have seen two police cars total in the alleyway behind Kilbourne. Are patrols restricted to late-night hours? It appears that the criminals in the area are becoming more bold (hence the string of armed robberies) during evening hours. Can something be done about patrols during this time? Also, I remember hearing rumors of a policeperson to be posted in our neighborhood fulltime on bike, has that occurred? Thank you for the information.
