| Are they planning to keep the one-way restrictions in place? |

Now they need to go back and put the "no left turn" sign backup for eastbound Tilden at Beach Drive. It was there until the Broad Branch detour was routed through there and needed to be able to turn left (north) onto Beach Drive.
Now, that intersection is awful during the evening rush hour. One car trying to turn left from Tilden onto Beach sometimes has to wait for the entire light cycle to make that left, and with the narrow bridge none of the following cars make it through the light. I have seen the backup go quite far up the hill. |

Yes, I've noted those terrible backups, and I do not know why DDOT took down the "no left turn, 4-6:30 pm" signs. Was it the Broad Branch closure? I don't know. I'll inquire with my contact in Cleveland Park. (Tilden Street is in Ward 3, and Park Road in Ward 4, much to my irritation.)

I haven't been by there lately, but a Ward 3 correspondent tells me that the no left turn sign is up again. Hope that's the case.

Indeed, it's now "no left turn" during morning and evening rush hours, for both directions on Park Road/Tilden Street, crossing Beach Drive.
Those signs came down last May. I suppose this was due to the Broad Branch closure, but I don't know that for certain. DDOT doesn't tell us anything.
