I understand that the homeless issue is a systemic one and that its not a solution to simply drive homeless people from one neighborhood into another. But these guys should not be allowed to incessantly drink in public in Mt. Pleasant. I think the public drunkeness happens here because its tolerated and will happen more until the community finds a way to stop it from happening. It shouldnt take something bad happening for us to figure that out. Can't we do something to make sure that the neighborhood liquor stores don't sell to drunk people? That sounds pretty reasonable to me.
