Just tried to walk to Adams Morgan this afternoon and they've got Mt. Pleasant St. blocked off from the corner of 7-11 to who knows where..you can't even cross from 16th street. Any idea of what's going on?

Police shot and killed this clearly mentally ill man. Heard on the fire radio that he was taken to Howard University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head.
