HIV Testing: Come learn the basics about HIV and STDs and how to protect yourself at the Anacostia Branch of DC Public Library. In honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Metro TeenAIDS staff will provide free, painless and confidential HIV testing. Participants will have a chance to win a $25 Gift Card.

This is a very good cause. I am from a nice suburban neighborhood but had a good friend in High School get HIV infected. It seems like such a distant issue and not part of our society until we see it up close. |

Yes, Climb. That's generally the way it goes. We don't pay attention to a lot of things until it happens to us or someone we know. But with HIV it's important that we are vigilent because it can be prevented, and it's all about knowing how to keep yourself safe. _________________ Know Your Status, Get Tested
