Hi all,
I am looking for meeting space somewhere in the area that can hold at least 150 people. Any ideas? Our church's current space is being re-purposed so we need to find something new for Sunday rentals. We are flexible on time and quite willing to pay rent. Of course we are already looking in to the myriad of churches on 16th street but it is harder than you would think. Anyhow, if anyone has any creative ideas, would you pass them on? Must of us live and/or work in Mtp/CoHeights/Petworth so we're doing are best to stay put in the area.

Have you checked with the Festival Center on Columbia Road?

Neighbors Consejo on 16th Street (several doors up from Irving) may have space available--I know that they're struggling financially, though I don't know if they have a big enough space.

You've probably checked All Souls--which has lots of different rooms. . .

The Josephine Butler Parks Center 2437 15th Street NW Washington, DC 20009

Capital City Charter School at 15th and Irving or the building that's right behind it. Or the Latin American Youth Center.
